Stella Jean's Ice Cream

"We're so happy we got to try Stella Jean's while in SD! Parking was difficult to find so I stopped in real quick. I got their Mango Sticky Rice and Ube Pandesal flavors. Talk about nostalgic! Both flavors tasted exactly like what they advertised to be, and made for a delectable and refreshing combo. The staff was very friendly and the interior of the shop was tastefully decorated. Now that we're back home, I can only wait for the day I'll get to visit Stella Jean's again!"

"Such a lovely little spot with even lovelier people. Carolina was incredibly warm and welcoming and happily let us sample a few flavors before we decided. I ended up getting a kids scoop of the ube + pandesal toffee, and it was honestly fantastic , unique, comforting, and something you don’t come across very often. The flavor felt fresh, well-balanced, and not overly sweet, which made it even more enjoyable and refreshing. You can really tell there’s thought and quality behind the ingredients here. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more flavors next time."

"We were told to go here specifically for the mango sticky rice icecream which I love the idea for. Mango sticky rice itself has a great sweet coconut milk that plays really well with icecream and even better with a sweet mango. We tried a handful of their options and my favorites were actually the vegan ice creams. They were a great mixture of tartness and sweetness. The staff was really friendly and had great recommendations. The atmosphere was nothing too special, with a few two person seats against the window and more seating at the coffee shop if you are able to sit there. The parking was a bit rough especially with the narrow side roads. Im use to upscale icecream going up in price but this one was pretty pricy. A single split scoop was above $10 which is steep for me. Overall a good spot but I like the value more at ans electronic repair"
