Rancho San Carlos Pet Clinic

"This review is long overdue. Our 5 year old dog became very sick last April and between, Rancho San Carlos, Tell Tail, and Moonlight, they gave her such good care. They were also so compassionate and patient with me and all my questions. She became sick again in January and ended up needing emergency surgery which was performed at Rancho San Carlos within hours. We were so grateful to not have to take her to the big box ER. Again, exceptional skill and care was given to our girl and to us. We now have established that she has some serious GI issues and have been to Tell Tail and Moonlight again for emergency anti-nausea meds and ultrasounds. I can't speak enough to how helpful it is that they have the two associated urgent cares (Tell Tail and Moonlight). With our dogs complicated history, it is amazing that we get to see the same doctors and her history is all in one place for all three facilities. We love all the doctors so much and they have been amazing through a very stressful and worrisome time."

"My dog was diagnosed with IVDD and we were having a hard time with pain management. He was still able to walk but after a 1.5 months he was still having frequent pain flair ups. I found Dr. Halsey and this clinic online because of her experience with acupuncture and redlight therapy. After the first visit with acupuncture my dog did so much better. He was immediately in less pain. Her and her staff worked with us to find a way to manage his pain with treatment and work with our budget. She was so knowledgeable about how to wean my dog off of pain meds and what to do if he had another problem. I went in to her thinking that my dog would eventually need surgery and it has been over 6 months and he has been totally great! I cannot recommend her and her staff enough. Anyone I know with a pet I've recommend to come here. She was very kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. Thank you!!"

"They take amazing care of both our dogs, one with special needs. They are responsive via business messaging and telephone calls. All of the vets collaborate interdisciplinary with each other, you get a whole team of experts for your animals. What really impressed me with their practices, when you get your animal back after procedure, they write a letter from the dogs perspective, it was so cute and heartwarming really connected to me with the vets."
